(Unlimited) CDN
Total shield against attacks e
Substantial increase in speed
The CDN or “Content Delivery Network” is a worldwide network of servers supporting your website that improves the performance of your site by acting mainly in two distinct ways:
- distributes the load of visits on a geographical basis across a network of global servers supporting the central server;
- eliminates the danger of slowdowns caused by possible hacker attacks, thanks to the synergistic application of a multiplicity of protection systems.
As you know, your website is hosted by a server, i.e. a computer located in a specific area of the world.
When a person visits your site, that server responds by serving up your content. Our servers are able to satisfy hundreds of thousands of visits per minute, but the most "crowded" sites may experience slowdowns if the number of competing visits becomes very high.
Similarly, if a hacker decides to attack your website, if he manages to get past the normal defense systems he could, before being intercepted, manage to clog up incoming traffic, making your website unreachable until it is intercepted and blocked.
The CDN, or 'content delivery network', can instantly block all attacks from any direction and at the same time multiply data sources.
How?
Protections against attacks and malicious traffic
- DDoS Protection Layer 7 (Application Layer)
Detect and block attacks that consume application resources through advanced statistical analysis. - Anti-DDoS
Include:- URL Flood Protection
- Hotlink Protection
- Connection limiting
Enable CAPTCHA or mitigations when traffic thresholds are exceeded.
Access protection and authentication
- Brute-force protection (WordPress login)
Block repeated attempts on wp-login.php and xmlrpc.php.
- Login attempt limit + CAPTCHA
After a certain number of failed attempts, a CAPTCHA is required or the IP is blocked.
Defense against bots and automated traffic
- CDN-level CAPTCHA (ALTCHA)
- Automatically activated during attacks
- Block bots before they reach the server
- Botnet detection
Automatic recognition and blocking of malicious bots.
Firewall and application protection
- Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Security rules for web applications
- Automatic blocking of malicious IPs
Access control and customized policies
- Allowlist / Blocklist
Filtering by:- IP
- User-Agent
- Geolocation
- Custom-targeted protections
Specific configurations for particular cases.
Security at the CDN level (edge security)
- Preventive protection “before the server”
Attacks are stopped at the CDN layer, avoiding resource consumption on the backend.
- CAPTCHA and edge mitigations
Reduces impact on CPU, RAM and application.
Other related security features
- XML-RPC (WordPress) Security
- CDN-level reCAPTCHA / challenge dinamiche
- Automatic IP blocking in case of abuse
The CDN is already at your disposal!
The CDN is already available to you, free of charge, for a monthly traffic of 8GB.
8GB is plenty for most websites.
Once the monthly 8GB of traffic is used up, the CDN is automatically deactivated, re-routing the traffic to the central server.
You can request free activation of the CDN by opening a ticket from your customer area.
If you need more traffic, the "UNLIMITED" plan is available from your customer area at this url:
