It's hard to make mistakes
Creating a new email account on cPanel is a very simple action: we often just need a hand to understand where to find the right information for this operation.
The steps for a new email account are few and simple
1. From your cPanel, click on “E-mail Account”
2. I click “create” and then enter:
- username
- password
- By clicking on “Edit settings” I am going to change the maximum size of the mailbox
The end 🙂
How do I manage email with my browser?
If your domain is called falafeldipollo.com, you will be able to log in from https://webmail.falafeldipollo.com
Once inside you will find on the first screen a management panel for the general settings of your inbox. To access the actual emails, simply click on the "roundcube" button
How can I manage my email without having to open webmail?
We would like to point out that we do not offer assistance with managing mail other than webmail. It is however possible to manage all the functions of your mailbox by using what are called mail "clients", i.e. programs for managing messages, such as Thunderbird and Outlook for PC and Mac, or K9-mail or others for mobile devices.
Mail programs can find your mail server settings automatically in most cases, but if you need to enter them manually, you will need to use the following:
___________________
Mail server, both incoming and outgoing: mail.dominio.com
___________________
For outgoing mail: STARTTLS 587 oppure SSL/TLS 465
For incoming mail: SSL 995 (POP3) oppure 993 (IMAP)
___________________
User: (Your email)
Pass: (your password)
I record DNS
If the domain is set up correctly, the email will work immediately.
Otherwise you may need to check that:
- The DNS MX record is set correctly
- The DNS CNAME record for accessing webmail is set correctly
You can control the propagation of such records from dnschecker.org
